The XEF250 proudly brings the Fantic Factory Feeling, even in such a competitive category as the 250cc is. A solid motorcycle, thanks to our industrial cooperation with Yamaha Motor Europe, on which Fantic has built and developed a new Euro5 250cc 4-stroke, that today represents the perfect balance between maximum performance and maneuverability.
ENGINE
The “power unit” of the Fantic XEF 250 Enduro is the high performance, light and reliable Yamaha 250 4-stroke, with double overhead camshaft and cam profile dedicated to Enduro use. The XEF 250 has a 6-speed transmission, with gearing dedicated to Enduro, yet allows smooth transfer to the road. Top performance is achieved thanks to the package developed in collaboration with Athena-GET (ECU) and Arrow (exhaust). The new Fantic ECU, with the dedicated app “WiGET” available for Android and iOS, allows the users to manage the air-fuel ratio and the ignition timing. From here it will be even easier to adapt the best mapping to any type of ground and condition. Great performance is guaranteed by the new exhaust system developed in collaboration with Arrow, which delivers further increase in value to the Fantic package.
CHASSIS
The new XEF 250 is easy and intuitive. The base frame is top-notch. The Yamaha perimeter aluminium frame works in perfect symbiosis with the Kayaba suspension. The SSS (Speed Sensitive System) 48mm fork with 310mm travel and Enduro settings calibrated by the Fantic Racing department, adapts to various riding styles, providing performance at the highest level. The Kayaba monoshock (317mm of wheel travel) is separately adjustable for preload, compression and rebound. Aluminium swingarm, DID rims 21×1.60 – 18×2.15 mount Metzeler Six Days Extreme tyres 90/90-21” -130/90-18’’. The braking system is Nissin, top power and modulability, with a 270mm disc on the front and 245mm on the rear.
AESTHETICS
A great feeling with the bike is guaranteed. Ergonomically designed radiator shrouds and rear plastics allow freedom of movement and control of the vehicle in every situation. The saddle has ahigh grip cover. The standard LED headlights guarantee great visibility, especially at night. The fuel tank, thanks to the 7.9 liter capacity, guarantees great autonomy. The engine guard and handguards are standard.
